Hi, Nice to Meet You

Hi, I'm Sara, and I live in the beautiful Peak District with my family. After years spent building a career, raising a family, and even building our own house, I suddenly found myself wondering… what now?

Then my husband bought a laser cutter and engraver for his business, and while having a play with it I discovered I could make my own earrings. I've always had a bit of an obsession with jewellery—especially earrings—and the quirkier, the better.

Before long, friends were asking if I could make them some too, and quite by accident, Wild Orchard was born.

I haven't looked back since. I love creating colourful, fun pieces that make people smile, and one of my favourite parts of the job is meeting customers at markets. I've also discovered a creative side of myself I never knew existed … much to the amusement of my husband, who thought he'd bought himself a new tool, not accidentally started me a business!—and I'm always dreaming up new designs and products (usually when I should be doing something else, like the ironing!).
